I found a love for dentistry as a sixth grader at my orthodontist. The impact that my new smile made on my self-esteem was life-changing. This experience led me to work in other dental offices and pursue the biological sciences in my undergraduate education. It turned out general practice dentistry was the perfect marriage of science and art that fulfilled my curiosities and suited my skills. Tracey has more than 20 years experience in the dental field. She is an expert in dental insurance. With her diverse experience in dentistry, she can answer both clinical and billing questions to advocate for your best interest. She has two grown children and lives with her husband in Huntersville.

Katey is originally from Ohio where she graduated in 2013 from Sinclair Community College with a degree of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She is certified in the administration of local anesthesia. Katey strives to provide the best care possible for her patients while making them feel comfortable during their regular dental visits. While out of the office, she spends her time with her husband and three young children. They enjoy getting outside to explore and baking together.

Sierra earned her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from Loma Linda University in California where she was born and raised. She recently moved to Mooresville from Charlotte and is excited to join the team at Dentistry by Design LKN to continue her career. She is passionate about connecting with her patients and providing individualized care. Sierra and her husband recently welcomed a baby girl, Hazel to their family. They are foodies and enjoy all the outdoor activities that Lake Norman has to offer with their golden retriever mix, Eva.

Alayna has been a Certified Dental Assistant II since 2003, when she earned her Diploma in Dental Studies and Expanded Duties in Colorado. She has been with the practice since 2005, providing clinical support in general and cosmetic dentistry. Alayna has lived in the Lake Norman area most of her life. Currently, she lives in Huntersville with her husband, Rob and their dog, Quinn.

Raegan earned her Dental Assistant II diploma from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College where she graduated with honors. She joined our practice in July 2023 after having an internship with us during her last semester of school. Raegan is eager to get to know our patients and further her experience in dentistry. Raegan recently got married to her husband, Caleb, and moved to the Statesville area.
